after one week break for the "germany cup", which actually was won by team canada, DEL season continues tonight with one game.

Hamburg - Köln (game time: 1 p.m. ET): Hamburg to win (2.85) for 1 unit
This is a special situation play for me.
normally köln,the defending champion, is the better team here, but this will be hamburg'S first home game ever.
it's a new franchise and they built a completely new arena for the team, which actually opened 2 days ago (it's from the same architect like the arena in helsinki.maybe some scandinaviens in here know it).
The place will be absolutly packed and excited. It's the first "real"hockey game ever in hamburg.
hamburg so far played only away games this season+ they played 7 games less than all other teams. that'S the reason why they are last in the standing. But they played a lot of close games and if they are playing only decent in their new arena, they will have a good chance to make the play offs.
not much to say about köln here. their recent hot streak cooled of a bit, and i'm simply going here with the emotional factor the crowd and the good value for the home team.
